My father was a wb state govt primary school teacher who died after retirement nd my mother is getting pension.im 30yrs ,unmarried,unemployed,unhealthy little bit nd little bit mentally unstable but my mother isn't providing me proper money for my needings nd he gave hus atm nd all to his son who is 31 yrs+ nd is a wb state govt primary teacher..as an unmarried daughter nd unemployed ,can I get a part of the pension of my died father? Lawfully am I eligible ? If not ,then what should I do ?

you are not eligible for part of pension directly for reasons cited by you doesn't make you eligible for the pension during the life time of your mother. however you can take a different route in the form of claiming maintenance from your mother and that way you will get the money you need. thanks & regards, Tanmoy Chattopadhyay, M.Sc (Net), LL.B (Delhi), Advocate, High Court, Calcutta.
