My earned money's house & jewellery under possession of wife

05-May-2023 (In Family Law)
My relationship is completing 26 years, somewhere in Aug 2019 all of a sudden my wife said she sold her gold necklace which was quite shocking for me as I had bought for her & that was of sizeable weightDespite asking her several times she did not clarify me the reason of its selling, so from DEC 2019 onwards I stopped giving her monthly expenses as well as conversation completelyNow since my return from abroad due to hypertension, her behaviour with me is disrespectful & arrogant and moreover she is claiming sole ownership on house as well as other gold ornaments which I had bought for her & house from my earnings sent to her throughout the tenure of service in gulfKindly suggest a peaceful / amicable settlement / seperation which she is demanding, as house is on her name & gold ornaments on her possessionI only seek a fair & equal justice for both.

A wife is not legally entitled to her husband's self acquired property and can only enjoy her husband's self acquired property till her husband's death. A wife cannot claim her husband's property before or after divorce. At most, a wife can only claim money for her maintenance or alimony. The most commonly reported major contributors to divorce were lack of commitment, infidelity, and conflict/arguing. Suggested you to go for Mutual divorce which is comparatively cheaper and time saving. Also this helps to live life with dignity and self respect.
