Hello, Generally, once a child is legally given in adoption, he is treated as the child of the adoptive family and ordinarily loses rights in the biological father’s coparcenary/ancestral property from the date of adoption. At the same time, he may acquire rights in the adoptive family’s properties. The answer depends primarily on whether the adoption was legally valid and completed as per law.
