This marriage has to be registered under Special Marriage Act. A marriage following social rituals between 2 inter communal people holds no significance. Please register the marriage immediately and the date of registration will supercede the earlier marriage. Please contact the local Registrar and get married under Special Marriage Act.

They can register the marriage under special marriage act without conversion and changing their faith. The criteria is that any of the applicant must be the resident of Mumbai and should have proper residence proof. Both should have a proper proof of their age and residence.
