Mother in law took away my wife and blackmailing to fulfill demands

My mother in law take my wife from my house six month before for rest after delivery but now they are not sending back my wife and my child. They are blackmailing me to sign on stamp paper for many conditions which they want to fulfill. I am an govt employee. Pls suggests me.
Dear sir as per your question and according to situation you file a application of reconstitution of conjual right section 9 hindu marriage act 1955 before family court then after file a criminal complaint against your mother in law because this is blackmailing matter
