Money given to family member how to recover it soon

 I have given money 3,00,000 to my friend/cousin in year 2015 July 1st through RTGS as he was in some family crisis as he stay in Odisha(Rourkela) and he told me that he will return me back within 6 month and will pay interest on it which is not in writing as verbal commitment given to me by him. It's been 25 month now he have not paid my money back and in the name of interest he just paid initially 4 month to me and after that i.e 21 passed now he have not paid a penny. Apart from that he is neither taking my call or replying my message. Please advice what can be done from my end in any legal form?

First of all you need to serve him with a legal notice, there after you can proceed for money recory suit if he doesn't pay you back the money given by you. Where r u situated? If in Raipur do visit my office for proper guidance....
