Marriage registered but with issues. I m muslim n she is hindu

01-Aug-2023 (In Family Law)
We registered a marriage and her parents posted an objection citing she is already married. Her previous marriage ended in 2014 wherein she signed a document without visiting any court and the other guy got remarried as per their rituals in the village. Now we dont want to register again as we dont have any document regarding the divorce. Is it possible for us to proceed with conversion of religion for her without this past n her parents affecting us. If yes how do we proceed on this

You have to mention the registration of your marriage . The fact has to be checked that you have married under special marriage or under personal religion law. The previous marriage has to be dissolved before proceeding with the current marriage . That conversion issue is a very different part. Her parents or any person who knows about the marriage can object before the marriage register.
