Can I put case on my grandmother as she tortures my mother and father by using abusive words. What punishment will be given to such kind of case..How can I protect my mother and father from her

Your mother has to file a complaint on your grandmother with the police or the concerned protection officer of the area where your mother resides under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act , 2005 [in short - Domestic Violence Act) for harassment. However, in case, the police or the protection officer do not entertain your complaint, your mother may file a private complaint of harassment against your grandmother in the jurisdictional magistrate court where your mother resides.
