Legal Consequences in case Married man marrying unmarried woman

Married person without getting divorce from first wife married another woman. The parents of first wife had filed FIR in PA.police had called the woman who has married, married person..First she has told that she has not married and allegation of her marriage put by first wife is false.subsequently notorised affidavit by the woman staying with married man, stating that she has on her own, knowing that man is married and not divorced ,has married as per Hindu traditions and staying with him as wife, is in the hands of police.police is making chargesheet and presenting to the court.1.other than the woman,man his father,mother etc have been named in For for dowry, harassment etc..First wife staying with her since past 7/8 months..The affidavit is signed by only woman..now in this position what shall be consequences on the man who married , the woman who married knowing that man is already married and not divorced and lI affidavit shall be enough to prove the marriage.both r hindus
