Legal Assistance Required for Police Harassment

27-Feb-2025 (In Family Law)
A police officer arrived with two individuals over a ₹7,000 dispute with my father at a residence owned by my Grandmother. He aggressively knocked, used abusive language, and threatened us. This dispute isn’t related to us in any way. My father has an alcohol addiction and often does these offences. The opposite party is also his drinker friends. This harassment has harmed our reputation and mental peace.

Your matter seems like a loan or compensation type matter i.e. a civil matter. If Your father does not made any criminal offence, Then Police can not interfere in civil matters without permission from judicial magistrate. If Police did, so you can complaint about the concerned officer or constable. For more detail you can contact me.
