Kinship for my nephew who’s in states care he’s 12 years old

My late brother’s wife got there 12 year old son taken away and is in dcfs custody and I was wondering if I could do kinship but I have a past history with the law and I had my kids taken away when they was young but that’s been 25 years ago and I haven’t been in any trouble with the law for over 10 years I’m now married to a great man and I’ve grown up I’m 47 now not 18 I would do anything the state asked I would do random uas what ever but I was wondering if I even had a chance at it

We would require a detailed answer on this. Is it possible we can talk and discuss your case out. Is this case in India or abroad. In India if you want the child's custody or guardianship, there are various provisions. Also what's the status of your brother's wife?
