Is Singapore marriage recognised in India ?

25-Feb-2023 (In Family Law)
I am an Indian national (muslim) getting married to an Australian citizen (Hindu) in Singapore under the MOM solemnization conditions. Will the marriage be valid in India legally? Incase of issues in the future, can filing of divorce be done in India ? Incase not, then how to get the marriage also stamped in India from Singapore without having 2 marriage dates ! Thanks for your help !

Dear Sir,

The Marriage which was solemnized and registered in any foreign country between two Indians (whether or not either of them has NRI status or not is immaterial here) can not give jurisdiction to Indian court unless and un-till the foreign marriage was duly Registered under the Foreign Marriage Act, 1969
