Is is legal to become mother without getting married

im a hindu divorced lady with no child frm my previous marriage.i wish to conceive and have no intentions of marriage as of now.my family is with me on this. just wanted to know if it is legal in india.if the baby is born, i understand it is not mandatory to fill in the biological father's name.Is is legaly valid to become a mother without getting married?
Very interesting! You want to be mother without marriage.but without marriage if child is borned would not take a place of legitmate child as per indian law? You can name mother name in place of his/her father name also.and you have known definitely name of his father name too.pleas consult in details to me!
