Inheritance right of an adopted child - Catholic Background

Hello, My name is John Clement. I am from catholic background. I was an adopted child, now i am 38. I just wanna ask a question that does an adopted child has right in inheritance/ property of there adopted parents?

Very good question. There are many angles however, please always remember. If your parents write a will and they nominate you then you have a right and if they don't nominate you then you don't have a right. If they die intestate then you have a constitutional right to inheritance as there is no express mentioning about rights of adopted child. You have right to inheritance as per above mentioned points.

yes adopted child has the same rights as if the natural child , provided adoption process shall have been done legally completing all legal formalities; process and documentation. oral adoption will not run
