In 2018-2019, my wife suffered a few instances of intentional verbal harassment/abuse from her own family (her parents and brother) and she totally stopped visiting them and even talking to them on calls/whatsapp/social media, etc. Now, since last year, my in-laws have been calling her on phone/whatsapp/social media and even visited my house to meet my wife in person, apologize to her and reconciliate their deeds.
