Husband/ in-laws mental harassment

I am a Hindu married from last 6 years. In-laws always treated badly and used to brain wash my husband and even he used to mentally harass me listening to them. After the birth of my son, everything changed for worse and they used to taunt me/ mentally harass me every now and then. Since the situation was unbearable, so I left to stay at my mothers place 1 year back. Now husband sent notice through advocate stating stupid reasons. How should I deal in this situation ?

It is important to know as to what if the notice about. If you want to get separated you can file a mutual consent divorce, else if you intend to give a chance to your marriage then you should go back and stay there. We need to send a response to the notice at the earliest rebutting the reasons. We also need to check whether husband is doing this willingly or under influence. We will explore all amicable methods of resolving and dealing with this situation.
