Husband harassing what she can do

my female friend is physically & mentally tortured and sexually assaulted(forced sex), she has recordings of her husband blaiming her and her fmly characterless in drunk condition, she wants divorce before two days her husband drugged her in milk for sex, she has recording of her mother in law accepting it, what should she do
She has two remedies.
1. divorce petition on ground of cruelty narrating the entire facts.
2. File criminal case under section 498-A for cruelty against her husband and other relatives who are partner in crime.

if your female friend is facing forcefull sexual intercource than tell her that she can go to court or police station for complaint. she can also submit petition for devorce on this ground. she can ask separation from court andduring that period if her husband comes and force for sex than she can file comlaint in non bailable offence

As we do not have any provisions for marital rape in the Indian law, you can still file a case against your in-laws under Domestic Violence Act - section 3. And file for divorce on the grounds of cruelty under Hindu Marriage.
