Husband forces me to love and obey his egoistic and selfish family.

I have been married for 4.5 years. Before marriage I clearly stated to my husband and in-laws that I’m a career oriented woman and liberal woman. But after marriage I was not respected. My in-laws have been extremely selfish, egoistic and trying to force their orthodox culture,asking me to give up on my liberal lifestyle, clothing and career. We have been staying separated from my in-laws but husband has been emotionally abusive and negligent towards me because I avoid his family. He is indecisive and deny that his parents are selfish. I have been time and again insulted, reprimanded, served silent treatment and made feel guilty . Also because of such toxic environment I have been avoiding family planning as I don’t want to progress this marriage further. I have moved out and asked for 6 months of trial separation but it hurts my husband and in-laws ego. My husband is been trying to influence to come back.
