Hello, I am preparing for govt job. my father always torture me and my mother. he is a alcoholic and creates violence in our family. and now he had a fight with me and told me to get out from my home. he want to reject me legally. I just want to know is there any law for me helpful. I just want to stay in our home and want to concentrate on my job preparation.
Being a major girl you cannot claim maintenance from your father, but you can file domestic violence case against your father. If your mother wants she can claim maintenance and residence right from your father that can help you.

File an application with the Protection officer posted in every District HQ in the name of your mother she will register a case after enquiry with JMFC in PWDV Act sec 12.18,22 &32.Court will take carer
