How to file a case against mother in law for using money sent for wife

How can I legally get my money back from a person who owns my money. The person is my wife’s mother and I have transferred 53k AED through western union from Saudi to Dubai for my wife but that money was not used by my wife and her mother hesitat to give the money back now how can I file a case against her mother to get the money back

You can file a civil suit against her. But you should have all the evidence of sending money to her and the instructions given to her and your wife should support you in court by saying that her mother did not pay her as instructed by her.

I wonder the relation between u n wife is strained or not. Watever be the position u can reclaim tat amount from her if u have evidence to show tat she used tat money for HER OWN PERSONAL PURPOSE. But u must have the evidence. Here frm your query it seems to be bank trasfer n hence redeemeble. U may file before civil or concerned family court if there is family issues to. Contact a civil lawyer. U claim must be raised within 3 year from date f transaction

Once you have sent the money to your wife, the money belongs to her. It is your wife who has to initiate action, if she chooses to do so. You could, at the most, be a witness in the complaint or the proceedings.
