How much maintenance can a wife get if husband is jobless.

I had been working in Dubai and my salary was 80k. But now due to the false case of 498a and 377 I had to come India and now I have lost my job and Visa also has been expired. Since April 2017 I am in India and Jobless and will not get a job in a reputed company since many companies now require police clearance.Wife is claming 50k as a monthly maintenance and she has done Masters in Education. I would like to know what proof do I have to show to the court to pay less maintenance and as I am not able to get a job so can I inturn ask for my maintenance from my wife(currently she is jobless).

Has she filed any Maintenance Petition/Application ?For Maintenance Court will consider financial condition of both of you ,assets ,liability ,education , past work experience before a decision is made .You will have to show proof of whatever you have claimed above .

wife is entitle d to get maintenance from her jobless husband as per the ratio of minimun wages act, for exeample if someone is jobless but god has given him two hands and two legs and that he can earn as an labour can earn.
