How do I stop my father in law from staying with us

04-Apr-2025 (In Family Law)
My FIL had multiple relationships still legally married to my MIL. FILs keep was trying to extract money and the property owned by my MIL and FIL. They have gifted the property to my husband. FIL is not a good person and my husband had to pay off some of his debts in the past. FIL is currently staying with us, he is aggressive and uses abusive language at home, has many criminal and civil cases filed against him, I don’t feel safe for me and my kids to have him around. How can I keep him away

Dear Madam, You may file Domestic Violence case against your father-in-law citing all about his conduct and thus take restraint order against him from entering into the residence where you are residing. You must clearly state that there is every danger to your life and limb if he is allowed to stay along with you. The Supreme Court says that if there is danger from FIL then he suppose to reside away from daughter-in-law.
