10-Jun-2023 (In Family Law)
My mom filed case 498a against my father and my father filed case criminal aganst my mom. It has been 2 years. Now they both want to terminate their cases. Can they do so at the same place, same day and same time because they have trust issues with each other.

DEAR SIR
YES IT IS POSSIBLE THAT BOTH CASES AGAINST YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER CAN BE DISPOSED OF OR WITHDRAWN AT THE SAME TIME BY EACH OTHER AND THIS PURPOSE SOME PLANNING IS REQUIRED AND CONSENT OF EACH COMPLAINANT IS ALSO REQUIRED
DON'T WORRY THAT CAN BE DONE EASILY

Yes, it can be done.
Both can file quashing application in High Court and both cases can be quashed. Even mediation can be done for resolution of disputes and matter can be compromised and both proceedings can be quashed.
