There is no bar in domestic violence act for any cast. The domestic voilence act section 2(a) “aggrieved person” means any woman who is, or has been, in a domestic relationship with the respondent and who alleges to have been subjected to any act of domestic violence by the respondent; Therefore you can remedy under domestic voilence act. And you can get remedy like custody of child, compensation and shelter order from the court.

Please do not ask such hypothetical or one liner question. It waste time. You have not specified who are you, what are the facts of the case, what is the issue and what kind of benefit you are looking to have. Without these facts it is not possible to give any advise. Another thing, whether you are brahmin or any other cast, it makes no difference, law is applicable equally to all cast and creed.
