High court stay in DV case submission in lower court
31-Oct-2023 (In Family Law)
I got interim stay from high court for 12 weeks, in domestic violence case based on jurisdiction violation, my lawyer is delaying to submit high court order in lower court, he is telling he will submit in next hearing date, I asked for advancement or office submission , anything opponents can do by next hearing date?
Hi please be in the court along with your lawyer to bring the High Courts order to the notice of the court. If the advocate is not present then you may in person highlight the matter to the judge during hearing of your case. Also seek assistance of court for change of lawyer if he is not diligent to his client and case.
