My brother's son(12yrs) residing and with me in Mumbai and studying in std.VII. My brother died last year and he had filed a divorce and custody of the child petition in Bangalore family court which after two years got abated on account of his death.Mother (of the child)is away from the child since last two years and did not attend the attend the funeral and even enquired about the child, hence the child is with me.The Child is entitled for some monetary benefits from the employer of deceased brother and some insurance benefits. Bank account is must which is not possible with I being guardian under court order.I am told that under the present situation the court will order the employer the insurance company to deposit the claim which will be disbursed for the from time to time. Need your advise .Thank you.

Ans - Apply for succession certificate in the court also check the nominee of the benefit to his employer.
