Grandmother registered property in mother's name now uncle wants share

Iam Indian Hindu. My mother divorcee and stays with my grandmother. All sons seperated along with sharing property. My grandmother has some land and she gave to my mother for her livelihood. She registered in my mother's name 9years back. My mother looks after my grandmother for 20years(food, clothing, medical expenses). My grandma died in the year 2014. Now one of my uncle quarelling with us for that property. What should we do plz suggest us. We have right on that property.

Any property in the name of a woman is her absolute property in accordance to section 14 of hindu succession act.
In your case since your grand mother has registered in your mothers name that too 9 years ago, the property belongs to your mother. Your uncle has no rights whatsoever.
So no worries
