Grand daughter's right in grandfather's property

13-Aug-2023 (In Family Law)
My grandfather has died many years ago. Presently my father, my uncle's son and my two aunty is ready to sell my grandfather's property. Now my question is that can I claim in my grandfathers property? And can my mother claim in this property? Otherwise my father is ready to spend the total money on local club, some brokers, and a lady who was in rent in that house.

Avccording Hindu law of succession the right over ancestral property devolves upon the legal hairs who are at present living. So in your case your grandfather's property devolves upon his legal heirs i.e. your father, uncle and aunts. As your father is alive, you cannot rightfully claim the portion of the property your father gets. However if your father doesn't maintain you and your mother in a proper way, you can claim maintainance from him in a proper forum of law.
