Gift of shares and requirement of gift deed between familyily

My mother wants to gift the shares to all her childrens. Is it mandatory to make a gift deed and how much stamp duty will imposes. Or just notarize stamp paper is valid
no notarize stamp is not valid , 50% of registration cost for the gift deed ,
and your mother only those share can be gift she earn during her life , if said property she received from her husband then other child property can't be share through gift deed
