If police found your complaint true than they file charge sheet against wrongdoer before court concerened, thereafter court will take cognisance and frame charge against accused and record the statement of witness. After statement opportunity will be given to accused for produce any evidence in defence and after that court heard final argument and pass judgement.

Based on the contents of the FIR he can apply for bail and/ or quashing of FIR. Investigation will be conducted and based on the consequence of investigation, Challan or Negative FInal report may be filed. (in the event no case is made out against him)

If chargesheet is filed then based on the sections mentioned in it, charge will be framed and trial will commence leading to acquittal or conviction.

Parallely you can initiate divorce, domestic violence and maintenance proceedings against him.

Dear Reader

your husband has been granted bail on the condition that he will never threaten you anymore. now charge sheet will be filed then charges will be frames if framed charges are denied then trail is run and evidences are produced which leads to examination and then cross examination and finally arguments are submitted and judgement is passed.
