Family problem - want suggestions - Regarding

My brother in law has skid from the scooter and his left shoulder got air fractured. Doctors operated and inserted two small screws and they said that the screws can be removed after a year. He is fine and doing normal activities with that. Recently he got married and first night was arranged. on that day, he told the issue to her wife. Immediately she left the house....ow saying that it was not informed to her before marriage. The marriage was not consummated so far. Now, she is reluctant to live with my brother- in-law and filed a case in police station...that we have cheated her by not telling the fact that he has operated with screw. Give me suggestions... What to do in this situation? Prior to marriage, there was no discussion about this incident They haven't asked/raised any thing about these kind of incidents and now they are saying that we have cheated them.
