FAMILY problem dispute which started after my love marriage

i left my parents (mom, dad & brother & his wife) bcz they have created lots of pblm during my marriage last year. As my all relative lives in Delhi & i live in Jabalpur & but came to know from few relative they are spreading lots of lie about us.
What legal action i can take ? if something happen to them we are not held responsible?
If there lies defames you then you may give them a legal notice or may file defamation complaint in court if you desire. What will happen to them? And why you think that you will be held responsible? For further advice you should mention more details.

You are living in Jabalpur, obviously you will not be held responsible for whatever they do. There are no legal steps needed to be followed in advance.
