false allegations related to dowry and domestic violence by wife

my brother got married last year after marriage his wife's behaviour changed like a phsyco and within six months she filed a false allegations related to divorce and domestic violence against her husband,brother in law,and father in law . her family supports her .now is there any scope to get rid of it.we belongs to a brahmin family.

: Since she has already filed a frivolous case, therefore you will have to fight the case. You can try to convince her and your brothers’ in-laws to settle the dispute outside the Court through mutual discussions and to withdraw the case. If she doesn’t withdraw the case, then you are bound to fight the case and prove to the Court that the case filed is frivolous and she is falsely implicating her husband and in-laws. Well, the burden of proof is upon your brother’s wife to prove the alleged allegations of domestic violence. And since no such incidents have ever happened so it won’t be easy for her to prove the same.

It is difficult to immediately get rid of the false cases. You need to have the matter tried and prove your innocence. However, if you can file cases against her for her illegalities, things might get compromised in some manner.
