Well, if you are innocent, you gather evidences that you were having no role in engaging with such Minor, if you could collect such evidences, then, you could go scot free from the clutches of law within a short period of time!

If you are being threatened with false allegations under POCSO or other criminal provisions, it is essential to act promptly and cautiously: Avoid Contact: Immediately cease all direct or indirect communication with the minor and her family to prevent any claims of intimidation or misconduct. Document Everything: Maintain records (chats, calls, emails) showing no illegal act occurred. This can serve as crucial evidence if false FIR is filed. Witnesses: If there were any third parties present during interactions, inform them and keep them prepared to be witnesses. Legal Notice: Consider sending a legal notice through an advocate to the threatening party warning them against harassment and false implication. NC Complaint: File a Non-Cognizable (NC) complaint with the local police station about the threats. This helps create an early record of your version. Anticipatory Bail: If the threat escalates, consult a lawyer immediately to file for anticipatory bail under Section 438 CrPC. Stay Cautious Online: Avoid any online communication that could be misinterpreted or misused. Act early — in such cases, preventive legal action is the best defence.

If you're being falsely threatened under POCSO, it’s crucial to first document all communications (calls, messages, etc.) as evidence. You may file a preliminary complaint with the local police station or ACP stating the false threats and seek preventive action. Also, you may consider filing a NC (Non-Cognizable Report) or even a Writ Petition under Article 226 for protection from false prosecution. Avoid any direct or indirect contact with the minor and her family.

If you are being falsely threatened with POCSO or criminal charges, you must take preventive steps to protect yourself. First, avoid any further contact or communication with the minor or her family, directly or indirectly. Preserve all forms of evidence including chats, call logs, or witnesses that show no illegal conduct from your end. You can file a preventive complaint with the local police or write to the Superintendent of Police under Section 154(3) CrPC narrating the threats you are receiving. If there is genuine apprehension of arrest, you may consider applying for anticipatory bail. It is strongly advised to consult a criminal lawyer for immediate guidance and to keep a record of all such threats for your defence. Do not ignore any warning signs.
