Extreme Torturing for property by inlaws.

I am a married since last 7years and staying separately with my husband in the same place where my inlaws are leaving just next door. The land in which we all are living is our ancestral land my my mother in law along with his other sons are planning to remove us from our house. They are torturing in the all possible way so that we may run away from there. I do not have any children yet but always taunted and termed as a barren women. Dear sir and madam please suggest me what should I do to survive

if you are apprehensive that you would be driven out of your matrimonial house then you can file an application for resident as well as protection order under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act. if you are being tortured by your in laws then you can bring a criminal case under section 498A of the IPC against them as well which might act as deterrent. regards, Tanmoy Chattopadhyay, M.Sc (Net), LL.B (Delhi), Advocate, High Court, Calcutta.
