euthanasia was done on my grandpa by my father - what action to take

My father practiced euthanasia on my grandpa in the year 1991. It's illegal in India I believe.He has confessed and is taking psychiatric medicines. I want to know if a case arises here and what is the best peaceful solution to it.
passive Euthanasia is permitted in India. kindly read the judgment p[assed by Hon'Ble Supreme Court of India in Aruna Shanbag Case march 2011. the Hon'ble SC specified two irreversible conditions to permit passive Euthanasia 1) the brain dead for whom the ventilator can be switched off. 2) those in persistant vegitative state for whom the feed can be tapered out and pain managing palliatives be added according to laid down international specification. however the said issue is still pending but till then the guidlines given by Ho'ble SC are binding.
in case if you wish to take any action then you must inform the said fact in writing to the local police, issue legal notice, file proceedings, etc.
and the peacful solution is do nothing.
