Emotional & Financial abuse by husband. Married for 21 years

Married for 21 years under Special Marriage Act. One son aged 20 years. Jointly own house with husband. I am working and completely financially independent. My husband does not pay for any personal expense but pressurises me to give him large sums of money for his business. For the last one year he has contributed almost nothing towards shared household expenses. What legal recourse do I have to get out of the situation and recover money that he owes me?

Sharing money with your husband in good faith is not illegal, thus you cannot seek your money back like that. Morally supporting each other is the game but legally if you feel that you want to stay separately then you can ask for maintenance. Furthermore you can also file a case against him for mental torture and cruelty if you feel your rights as an individual is being violated.
