Does younger brother have rights in elder brothers property

rights in a property depends upon the source of fund through which it was acquired. If the property is purchased from a fund which was common of the family then the brother has a right in the property so acquired irrespective of whether it is in his name or not. But if the property is a self acquired property of the elder brother then the younger brother does not have any right in the property.

Not at all but if the younger brother succeeded to prove that the property purchased by the elder brother from the joint family earnings then he can get share in his property the burden of proof upon his younger brother
