Does Marriage affidavit proves marriage?

What happens to affidavit made for marriage registration? Do we need to take it back or submit it to get the certificate? Does it proves marriage or we need to get certificate further? I don't know if someone can keep affidavit after showing it to the registrar.

Marriage affidavit required to reguster ur marriage and get certificate of marriage from government it is a process of marriage registration followed by witness and some more documents for further query plz free to call plz note that affidavit of maarriage is not a proof of marriage

You will have to submit many other documents along with it. Submit photocopy keep the original with you to be shown at the time of solemnization. Yes, the affidavit is a proof of marriage. After registration you will get a certificate. Please let me know if you want to get your marriage registered.

Marriage registration once done at the appropriate sdm office will not require the affidavit to be kept further. however for documentary proof you can keep the affidavit which may be used later(God forbid if any such thing happen) . be blessed to have married and just keep you marriage registration certificate with you
