Death certificate of mother not made 30 years ago

My mother died at that time we didnt register her death. Now we have to make a legal heir certificate to transfer the property to me and my brother's name. But we are not able as we do not have my mothers death. She died before my father, so we also. don't have any identification proof of her. Kindly give me advice of how can I prove her death.
ok you have to go the registrar of birth and death then they will ask you for proof your mother died intestate so as I said as above you also went to the sub registrars office and register the documents

you can make a bonafide letter from RWA authority or pradhan of gram panchayat. also given two neighbours for surety and identity card. or if you have any hospital record for death you can produce in front of authority who issues death certificate.
