Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to ask for legal advice regarding my marital rights. I want to know whether I can live separately with my husband without my mother-in-law’s involvement in our marriage. Is there any legal provision or law in India that allows me to claim this right to live separately from in-laws? Also, can I ask my husband to arrange separate accommodation for us? Please guide me on what legal steps I can take.
