Child Custody if child is stating in different jurisdiction
27-Jan-2025 (In Family Law)
I filed GWC for custody of my son who's age is 10Yrs at the place where he has taken birth and currently lives with his grand father. My wife was passed 7 years ago. But my in-laws saying child is living in different location along with my in-laws which 1s 700 Kms far for me. Now can i ask the judge to put the child in base location where actually his birth was taken or i need to go to visit my son where he is currently residing? Intentionally my father-in-law changing the location.
Dear Sir,
Without child custody order from the Court your father-in-law cannot shift the child to various locations. The child is suppose to be kept at base location. After the death of mother of the child the father is entitled for full custody of the child. You may file child custody case and get appropriate orders and if such orders are against you. You may approach High Court.
