Can one restrain mother in law from coming to ones house

24-Dec-2023 (In Family Law)
Can one restrain mother in law from coming unannounced. The frequent visit results in harrassement. Please advise if there is a way out to control/stop such visit with minimum fuss . Is there a way out without filing a case .

Hi
Yes. you can tell both your spouse and his/her mother that your mother in law can inform you in advance of her intended arrival so that you can plan your day better.
Many a times we hesitate to tell things straight on the face of person, but our own hesitation will prove to be our nemesis.
So better to tell the concern without any hesitation and politely.
