Can my wife claim property which i brought before marriage ?

Can my wife claim property or equivalent worth which i brought before marriage (50 % share with me and 50% share with my mother ? (loan was cleared after marriage). After loan clearance, my 50 % shares of property are also gifted legally to my mother. she is 100% owner of property at the moment. if she can claim, how much she will get ?

she can not claim any share in the property. As per law, being your lawfully wedded wife, she can only claim the domestic rights available under PWDV act i.e. residential right under section 17 of PWDV act. Hence, the property being self acquired, and the share belonging to you is already transferred as per law, no share can be claimed.

If you have transferred the full ownership of the property to your mother through proper channels then your wife will not be entitled for anything out of that particular property. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

1.if u had gifted the property to ur mom legally then nobody can raise question against the gift..
2. But ur wife has right in ur property whether it has been bought before or after marriage . U v d duty to maintain her...if u v nothing n u r making the gift only to forfeit her right over the property then her right over property is maintainable under d court of justice

No, she cannot claim. Because if she claims anything from you now, then she can only claim form what you have now. The moment you transferred your 50 per cent to your mother, it became her's and, therefore, she has nothing to do with your former assets.
