Can father's sisters claim share in grandmother's property

twe are a hindu family. the concern is regarding a house on my grandmothers name. grandmother expired in 1980, grandfather in 2000. my father were four brothers and one sister, two brothers expired with no heir. my father and his remaining brother had the house on their name. can my fathers sister ask for a share in the house, at present i am only residing at the ground floor of the said house, and she lives on the first floor. my father and his brother both are residing in some other town.

actually she has right but as per law thatdepend upon the rest of the property details because then as per that she will be put on stop so she will not claim the right rest also there is need to know what she want to do that she want to sell or else then able to proper guide thank you

Yes u can claim it if the property is an ancetral one. You can claim your share . If the property is self acquired then it will be divided into her legal heirs if she has not done any will. You can claim it through civil court and can file civil suit.
