My father got 8 acres of land of his mothers property after her expiry. Now he wants to sell or transfer his land for his self benefits. Is it possible without wifes& sons signature?

Hi
Since your father got the 8 acres of land from his mother, it is not an ancestral property.
For a property to be called as ancestral property, the property should have belonged to your father's grand father, father etc.
Since your father got the property from his mother, he can sell or transfer his land to any person whomsoever he wishes (including self benefits).
