Can daughter file a case against father for maintenance

My father is retired. As my brother does not take any responsibility of my parents, they stay with me since 10yrs. My father is having a property in joint name with mother and gets rent from it and gets pension also. He saves his pension and uses rent ( rs 9000) for their personal usage.my mother is a cancer patient. My father is a very quarrelsome person. He is supporting only my mother's medical expenses. Now inspite of helping me he has gone to stay at brothers place. He abuses me a lot. I am a housewife with one daughter and old in-laws to support. Can I claim any compensation ?
