Can daughter claim property bought in 1985 and got married in 1984

We have a land it's on my grandpa name will my dad's sister will have a share in that land . And my grandpa has buyed that land in 1985 . And my dad's sister got married in 1984 can u please confirm this

Hi Since your grand father purchased the land in his name, it becomes his self acquired property. Your dad's sister is entitled to a share of her father's property by virtue of the fact that it is a self acquired property of your grand father and that section 8 of hindu succession act will apply and by virtue of the same , your dad's sister being a class I heir is entitled to a share of the same .
