Can brother's claim share in property jointly owner by me and father?

24-Jun-2023 (In Family Law)
Me and my father are planning to buy a new property jointly in my and my father's name. My father would be contributing 30% by way of selling his existing property and I'll be contributing remaining 70%. My question is, any time in future, when my father would be no more, can my brothers claim rights on this new property? I am Hindu currently residing in Mumbai.

Yes. Unless your father gifts his entire share to you before death or makes a proper will to that effect. If not, brother is entitled to 1 part of the father's share and equal part to all the siblings and mother.
Regards.

Yes as legal heir he shall be entitled to 15% ownership in your flat unless your father will out his share to your brother in that case he shall be entitled to 30% and in case it is will out to you in that case he shall have no right.
But don't try to snatch away your brother's share as that would result in you paying him heavily in this life .not legally but
Otherwise.keep relations and bonds strong.today you snatch your brother right tomorrow your wife and children shall throw you out on street .
