Can a child file false cases against parents

What action can be taken against a child who is threatening parents that she would file a case against them if they dont allow her to do as she wants to. She is in affair with a muslim guy after divorce which we are against of. She is free to marry him which she is not doing. We have other children who has to get settled and because of her behaviour they are not finding matches for marriage
